Alannah began her musical journey at the age of ten, when she picked up the fiddle. In addition to playing the fiddle, she plays tin whistle and bodhran, and enjoys singing as well. She has also received training in classical violin through the Suzuki method. Alannah is an Open Championship Irish dancer with the Lancaster branch of the Doherty Petri School of Irish Dance, and has trained at the Riverdance Summer Academy in Dublin, Ireland.
